Thank you for recommending your family villa to me. I had a great time staying here and a special thanks to your mother for taking such a great care of me. I felt at home, she was great with the Delicious vegetarian food. I enjoyed time with all your family. I am very grateful to see your father and Austin picked me up from the Airport; that was special. I told your parents I have adopted their home to be mine in Trinidad. Thanks again and I will be contacting you again for my future travels to Trinidad.
Thanks again Chris S, Ghana

.......please convey our utmost and heartfelt thanks to your parents! Mads' stay was wonderful, perfect! He had no complaints! He LOVED your mother's cooking, and the conversations with your dad. He wanted me to thank your family for treating him like family! I am glad I chose the CrossWinds Villa for his stay in Trinidad! Thanks again...

I have never been anywhere where I felt more at home. The food was great… better yet outstanding. The Lendors are definitely a home away from home! My whole family of 15 stayed for the week and we all look forward to coming back. The service was outstanding to the point where if you need your hair done they would call someone to come and do your hair. When we got dropped of at the airport I cried… Crosswinds was good to me…

I just returned from T'dad. I had a ball.
I love your parents and I love CrossWinds. My children are begging me to take them back to CrossWinds as soon as possible. They love your parents too.
Your parents are gracious hosts. Very kind and caring. It felt like we are all from one family. And the accommodations. . . CrossWinds is like a Spanish castle. We had such a good time.

Thank you all for everything. I really didn't get a chance to say thanks. The hospitality was really outstanding. Your parents were so sweet. And I had a dad moment with your dad when he took me to the airport. He will never know how much his kind words and his life has inspired me.
Ted, U.S.A

I'm so sorry! We went away and we didn't thank you for your friendly hospitality! We couldn't also give you the famous 4 Italian kisses! The carnival make our heads turn! Anyway we had a really good time in Crosswind Villa, and all of us agree saying that you have a wonderful family. Hope to see you again and I wish to all of you all the best.
Renato, Italy

Trinidad was lovely and I want to say how much I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with your parents. The welcome was superb. Thanks again for accommodating us at such short notice. God Bless.

CrossWinds Villa: "Beauty, access, fun, R&R, great service (and wonderful hosts)"
muehlmatt, Manchester, New Hampshire Mar 7, 2007

I found Crosswinds with a web search. My brother and I were planning a trip to Trinidad for Carnival to escape the gray winter of the Northeastern US. Neither of us had been to Trinidad before, and we were a little uncertain about what to expect. Deborah Lendor handled our reservation and helped with advice and logistics from her base in Toronto, and her parents, Grace and Joe, took care of us upon arrival in Trinidad.

From the moment we stepped into the terminal and were greeted by Austin - Crosswinds' super driver and guide - to the sad goodbye nine days later from Grace and "Uncle" Joe Lendor (who saw us off at 5:00 am!), our stay at Crosswinds was perfect Trini bliss.

We got to the B&B late the evening of our flight - we were starving and to our delight dinner (homemade Roti) had been kept warm for us. We started each day with a great breakfast, warm "good mornings" from the Lendor clan and fellow guests (german and british and yankee and norwegian - families, businessmen, and university student Mas makers). Breakfast was always followed a dip in the beautiful, clear swimming pool and conversations with our hosts and co-guests about what to do and see that day - then off to see the island in the rental car Austin helped find for us. By the third day my brother and I began referring to Crosswinds as "home", as in "Do you want to swing by home before we go into Port-of-Spain for dinner?". This "home" is just the right distance from Port-of-Spain, Maracas beach, and the airport. It gave us quick access to the festivities of Carnival and amenities of the city, and just enough distance to offer the respite we needed to feel away from it all in the lush tropical surrounds.

We felt cared for, safe and welcome - while the spacious property and thoughtfully designed architecture afforded us all the privacy we needed when we needed it. With the expert sightseeing and Carnival advice of the proprietors and staff we were never at a loss for something to do, and for everywhere we traveled (which was a good 3/4 of the island) we saw no place we would rather have stayed. I can't wait to go back. I believe you will feel the same.
